The Parish Council recognise that developing this land is inevitable. As this at present is only "outline permission" initial comments are as follows:
The Council is committed to affordable housing however 16 houses seems too many and are utilites available? Adequate car parking is a must for this development as excess cars can not be parked on the adjoining main road. A repositioning of houses is necessary instead of the visually boring straight lines for the adjoining neighbours. Houses backing onto this development (Wicklands Road) would lose a lot of natural light. Finally,the access road needs to be improved as sight lines are limited for drivers.

The number of vehicular movements would significantly increase past No69 and No73,as will the dangers of joining the High Street on a hazardous corner.
